Drug test ketamine:

Ketamine is a dissociative anaesthetic developed in 1963 to replace PCP (phencyclidine). While ketamine continues to be used as an anaesthetic in humans and animals, it is increasingly misused as a street drug. Ketamine has a similar molecular structure to PCP, creating similar effects including dullness, loss of coordination, feeling of invulnerability, muscle stiffness, aggressive/violent behaviour, slurred or inhibited speech, exaggerated feeling of strength and a blank stare. The respiratory function is suppressed, but not the central nervous system. Cardiovascular function is maintained. The effect of ketamine generally lasts 4-6 hours after ingestion. Ketamine is excreted in urine as an unchanged substance (2.3%) and as degradation products (96.8%).
