Protection class FFP2 masks may have a maximum leakage of 11 percent and must be able to filter at least 94 percent of all particles up to 0.6 micrometres in size from the air. In addition, the material guarantees low breathing resistance and also offers a high level of wearing comfort due to its soft inner fleece. Owed to its moisture-repellent material, the Dräger X-Plore FFP2 mask can be worn significantly longer than conventional medical masks, namely for up to eight hours!  A nose pad under the mask and a nose clip in the outer mask area also gently but effectively hold the respirator mask in place. This prevents air from getting under the mask at the sides. The VarioFLEX™ headgear also contributes to the high wearing comfort, as it ensures that the mask can be put on and taken off easily and that it fits without pressure.
